🎥 You don't know him yet, but you've seen his artwork splattered across the movie screens of the world.

E. P. Mattson is an award-winning artist, poet, and songwriter who has worked on some of the biggest blockbuster films of the last two decades, with over 50 art credits on IMDB. Three films he worked on crossed one billion dollars each in worldwide gross, The Joker, Fate Of The Furious and Beauty And The Beast. He worked as an artist on season three of The Umbrella Academy which smashed all Netflix records for viewership with 125 million hours watched. He's shipped three AAA video games as a texture artist, and has created projection maps for Disney Orlando, The Hollywood Bowl and Stranger Things.

A Polymath, E. P. is skilled in art, VFX, videography, creative writing and music composition. In 2018, he designed, illustrated and self-published his first book of poetry, The Opulence Of Invention, 5 stars on Amazon.

In September of 2023 he released his debut music single and directed the official video for Automatic Ovulator. This is a high-octane, Punk/Rock track fusing a ‘60s bubblegum vibe with a snarling vocal delivery reminiscent of classic bands like The Clash and The New York Dolls. The track was produced and engineered at The Tone Factory in Las Vegas by renowned engineer Johnny Gibson, who also mixed and mastered the track. Drum and bass parts were performed by Romeo Somboon.

E. P. directed the Official Video in a kaleidoscopic, Pop Art style. It is currently touring the film festival circuit, and has won Best Music Video Awards in Prague and Venezuela, while finaling in Rome, Paris and New York.

His art aesthetic is a high-concept attack on the senses with bold colors, Pop Art and Surrealist sensibilities, and often with satirical and provocative themes. To bore is a sin, don't you think? He describes himself as "Willy Wonka, but I make candy for your mind." You can connect with him on SpotifyInstagram and YouTube.
